Chief Executive Officer A seasoned executive, Jack has successfully led high growth companies and small startups to multi-national enterprises. He brings more than 30 years of expertise in the networking, service provider and information technology industries. Most recently, Jack served as the president and CEO of EqualLogic, Inc., the market leader for intelligent, modular storage area networking (SAN) solutions, where he grew the company and led it through a successful Series C round of funding. Previously, Jack was a co-founder of Cogentric, a software company that simplifies the management of security and risk information. As CEO, he grew the company from idea to $6 million run-rate in 2 ½ years. Before joining Cogentric, he spent a number of years as Chairman, President and CEO of Saville Systems, a developer of software billing systems. Jack grew the company from 135 employees and $15 million in revenue to 1,800 employees and $185 million in revenue, market cap in excess of $1 billion, with offices worldwide. Jack took the company public in 1995 and completed a secondary offering in 1996, splitting two times. He was appointed Chairman of the Board in 1998 and completed the successful sale of the company to ADC Telecommunications in 1999. Prior to Saville Systems, Jack served on the senior management team at Telic, a provider of network and budgeting workforce management applications, and grew the company from 15 employees to 600 employees with $75 million in revenue.
