Arbor Ellacoya e30 Configuration & Operations

 

In this course, participants will learn about the Arbor Ellacoya e30, and upon completion, will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the platform and architecture. The course provides an overview of the software and hardware of the e30 platform, and equips the participants with the knowledge and skills needed to implement Bandwidth, Service Plan and Quota Management allowing full network optimization during off-peak and peak periods. Additionally, participants will learn how to identify subscribers, measure network usage and enforce policies, providing a greater visibility into network traffic patterns on a per application and per subscriber basis.

Target Audience: Network operations personnel, service provider project/program managers, ISP support engineers.

Location: Available as a private, onsite course at your company location, or at the Arbor Merrimack, NH training facility.

  • Explain how passive and trusted authentication works
  • Know how flow processing and flow identification occurs inside the chassis
  • Perform firmware upgrade
  • Perform configuration tasks using the Service Creation Manager (SCM) GUI tool
  • Describe the use of bandwidth management and how to apply it within a network
  • Generate and run reports for network traffic on hourly, daily, or weekly intervals
  • Explain the difference between Service Elements, Service Bundles and Service Offers
  • Produce a service plan that supports a given customer network, test plan to ensure compliance with established plan parameters
